COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Quadrupel with Scottish heather honey Ale with Scottish Heather Honey and American hops. A ruby-hued ale with Scottish heather honey that boasts aromas of rich dried fruits. Hints of citrus fruits run subtly throughout, cutting through the sticky mouthfeel to balance out the sweetness. Brewed at La Trappe Trappist monastery in collaboration with BrewDog in the fall of 2020. This is an exploration of past and present that was developed over an early morning tasting at BrewDog's headquarters in Ellon. The name originates from the desire of both breweries to leave the world better than they found it. Therefore the monastery will make a charitable contribution in their area in honor of this collaboration. Top fermented ale with honey and with secondary fermentation in the bottle. (from label)

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2021 This is a nice collaboration beer. It is more carbonated than i like, may ease with ageing and its well boozy for its 10abv seems a lot more. Plenty of interesting flavours. There are better quads out there certainly for my taste.

Beese (12774) - Tooting, London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 30, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 30, 2021 Keg at BrewDog Clapham Junction, Battersea. Clear deep ruby. Aroma of dark and dried fruit. A lot of dark malt and raisin in the flavour. There’s some light metallic flavours bounding around. Lots of red wine and smooth malty flavours.
