Andrew196 (2455) - Katy, Texas, USA - MAR 24, 2019UPDATED: MAR 24, 2019 Pours a dark brown, dark crimson edges, wispy beige head. Aroma of earth, coffee, cocoa powder... Slight hoppy edge. The balance is what first struck me on the palate... Malty and hoppy bitterness detectable. Creamy cappuccino lacto notes. Caramel. Earth. A wisp of pine towards the back. Pretty good stuff.
R4N5H (2279) - London, ENGLAND - MAR 16, 2019UPDATED: MAR 16, 2019 On tap at Lagunitas Tapkabinet, Amsterdam on 15-Mar-2019. ABV 7.2%. Dark brown with a small beige coloured head. Aroma of roasted malt and coffee. Full bodied with soft/medium carbonation. Taste of malt, mocha, cocao nibs, caramel, spices and alcohol. Smooth, tasty but a little artificial. Decent, but I've had many better coffee stouts.
