UPDATED: JUL 28, 2021 7MAR2020, op tap bij LIB Festival. Zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Koffie, chocolade, wat geroosterde smaken, vrij vlak, degelijk maar weinig spannend en teveel koffie voor mij. Medium body.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2019 Draught at The Flying Circus, Newark, Notts. Black with tan head. Big, thick, roasty flavours to this from the start. Coffee grounds with bitter chocolate, palate filling, medicinal alcohol note. Heavy for a sunny afternoon but reasonable.

UPDATED: MAY 20, 2019 Tap at Bishop Arms next to Stockholm Central Station. Pours dark brown. Aroma and flavor are sweet, bitter, instant, coffee, malt. Overall: ok.

UPDATED: APR 17, 2019 Lagrad flaska sedan 2012 eller tidigare. En fantastisk, lätt sötsyrlig doft med toner av choklad, rått kött, bränt trä och bara en mjuk kaffeton. Skummet avtar snabbt och vätskan är klar, svart med en ton av rödbrunt. Kraftigt rostad smak på en stor maltbotten som inte blir för söt. Och så finns förstås kaffe och choklad i mängder. En perfekt balans i den helfylliga kroppen mellan silkesmjuk känsla och en lätt spritsig kolsyra – en helt perfekt kombination i sammanhanget. En rejäl beska (trots låga IBU 29, 5) och en lång eftersmak.

UPDATED: MAR 24, 2019 Pours a dark brown, dark crimson edges, wispy beige head. Aroma of earth, coffee, cocoa powder... Slight hoppy edge. The balance is what first struck me on the palate... Malty and hoppy bitterness detectable. Creamy cappuccino lacto notes. Caramel. Earth. A wisp of pine towards the back. Pretty good stuff.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2019 On tap at Lagunitas Tapkabinet, Amsterdam on 15-Mar-2019. ABV 7.2%. Dark brown with a small beige coloured head. Aroma of roasted malt and coffee. Full bodied with soft/medium carbonation. Taste of malt, mocha, cocao nibs, caramel, spices and alcohol. Smooth, tasty but a little artificial. Decent, but I've had many better coffee stouts.

UPDATED: MAR 13, 2019 Bomber from Whole Foods. Dark mahogany color with sizeable tan head. Creamy but less than full body. Roasted grain aroma with a touch of anice. Tastes of coffee (surprise) and dark fruit. Malty bitter coffee finish that stays on the palate awhile.
