Bottle. Pours opaque black with huge brown head. Aroma is malt, soy sauce, coffee, liquorice and Vegemite. Taste is light to medium sweet, medium bitter and light salty. Body is oily with light carbonation. Finish is long and mostly bitter with notes of coffee, malt, soy sauce and liquorice.

On tap at Oluthuone Joutsen, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roasted malt, some chalk, and dry cocoa. Flavour is along the same lines, with more robust roasted malt, light chalk, and dry cocoa. Dry and roasted, with good body. Nice stuff.

Pours black with medium brown head. Aroma is roast, caramel, sweetness, milk, some malts, coffee, dark chocolate, dry notes, some alcohol. Taste is coffee, roast, some watery notes, light fruits, malts, chocolate, milk, some oats, light and easy to drink. Nice beer!

Bottle - 330ml. Opaque black body with a thin, lasting, beige creamy head. Complex malty aroma with roasty, plummy, and liquorice hints. Its well balanced, robust malty taste carries hoppy, roasty, vanilla, and liquorice notes. Ends with a warming, oaky/roasty finish. Very nice.

Black beer with little brown head. Aroma is modest roast, some alcohol. Taste is soft roasted malt, some licorice, slight coffee and dark chocolate, alcohol. Sweet and semi bitterness. Very good and interesting beer. Drinkable, alcohol pretty well hidden. Good brew from Finland.

Bottle at Kiasla, Helsinki. Black with a tan head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, licorice, dark fruit notes and caramel. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Botella 33 cl en Cimmeria 16..06.. 2017 Fombe.. Cimmeria. Fcpref 17..8..2017. (r144). Color negro intenso con espuma beige oscuro. Sabores maltosos tostados con ligero dulzor y buena dosis de cafés que aumentan en quemado y torrefactos al calentar. Cuerpo medio algo espumoso y cierta densidad, fino en general. Toques ligeros de vainillas y cacaos. Buena.

Did I enjoy it: yes.
Pours quite dark with nice light tan head. Moderate head retention, some lacing. Roasty, coffee, licorice nose. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, thick texture. Palate follows the nose. Dry finish. Good.
