PowY (3777) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - JUN 6, 2018From tap at Monte Verde Beer House at 5.5% ABV. Hazy golden color with a white head. The aroma is very unusual - fermented apples, butter, glue. Not good at all and borderline disgusting. Medium body with a light sweetness and a light to medium bitterness. The flavor is lightly hoppy and lightly to medium malty - bread, some grains, some biscuit, herbal hoppy notes, some strange fruity notes similar to the smell, metallic, blood. Finishes with a light, hoppy bitterness. The smell is very bad, the flavor bearable. Drinkable if you do not breath but upon warming the off-flavors become even worse.

Butters (4067) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - APR 29, 2017Sampled on draft at La Fortuna Pub in Costa Rica. Hazy copper pour with fair off white head . Sweet malt grain nose is not exactly enticing, and the flavor follows suit. A light earthy hop bitterness to finish it off is pleasant and fits the style. Medium full body added a nice chewiness. Definitely a step up from the commonly home brewed typical pale ale, but not amazing or anything. And of all the beers I tried (mango, pineapple, ipa, dunkel) this was definitely the best of the lineup.
bu11zeye (13702) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAY 4, 2016(Draught) Pours a clear golden body with a spare white head. Aroma of florals, orange, and grass. Flavor of citrus, florals, herbs, and biscuit.
3fourths (9493) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - FEB 22, 2016UPDATED: FEB 23, 2016 Citric and lightly resinous with dominant notes of grapefruit, orange juice, bubble gum, and yeast / dough. It’s sweet and pulpy and medium-light bodied, creamy and yeasty in the mouth but without body, finishing overly bitter and cheese-y (old hops). I overheard the brewer excitedly tell someone that this was 15 days old, and tapped at 9. That makes sense. So let it be a lesson on why cold conditioning and yeast flocculation are so important.
jcnielsen (3414) - Huntsville, AL, USA - JAN 15, 2015On tap in La Fortuna. Pours a hazy dark golden color with white head. Grassy, floral, hoppy aromas. Nice grassy, herbal, floral hop flavors. Flavor dies off a little at the end. Quite balanced with a nice hop profile. Fun to try a microbrew in Costa Rica, nothing out off this world, but a solid beer.
gnomungus (89) - - AUG 15, 2014Lacy head, orange hazy appearance. Starts off with some nice floral/orange hops with a light, bitter finish. Great for heat, but there’s almost no body to the beer.
Lubiere (19735) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 1, 2014A golden ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with smooth floral hops. In mouth, crisp biscuit malt with grassy hops, a bit light but o.k.. On tap at Craic Pub.
