Reddish-brown pour with a white head. The aroma is full of brandy with some oak and toffee. Flavor is the same. Tastes exactly like you expect a brandy barrel quad to taste like. A lot of dark fruit, brandy, oak, alcohol and toffee. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

jhamp9 (2140) - Corinth, Texas, USA - AUG 19, 2016
Murky brown pour with an off white that settles to a ring. Aroma is strong caramel, dates, vanilla, brandy, wood and some bread. Taste is less sweet than the aroma but has the same notes. ABV is well hidden. Full body.

Tap at the Brewery. The look is cloudy, Amber red brown in color. Bigger thicker lasting tan head. The smell is tons of candy, burnt brown sugar, fruitcake, big, figs, molasses, alcohol, brandy, grapes, very deserty. The taste is not as bold but somehow richer. More alcohol comes through. Sugary for sure but balanced. Good beer.
