UPDATED: DEC 30, 2021 33 cl can. Pours black color with a small, rapidly dissipating beige head. Dark chocolate on the nose, distant nutty notes, lots of coffee roast, cocoa. Flavor is roasted malty with lots of coffee, dark chocolate and cocoa. Way drier and not as sweet as I expected, quite nice roasty coffee IS.

UPDATED: NOV 21, 2021 Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is vanilla, cocoa, sugar, dark malt, lactose, caramel, some coffee. Flavour is medium sweet with a light bitterness. Medium body, hides the alcohol well. Low carbonation. Lots of vanilla and lactose, not really my thing.

UPDATED: APR 18, 2021 330ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Bubbly, tan-head remaining over a body that is black as pitch. Laces quite well. Cocoa nose, lightly roasted, promising. Pastry taste profile, impacts of cocoa, biscuit, grainy chocolate, and vanilla sweet lactose beneath. A coffee bite to a long-lived and warming finish, rather sweet. Well bodied. Likable slow sipper on a Saturday afternoon. (Tromsø 17.04.2021).

UPDATED: MAR 10, 2021 Coffee, dark chocolate and muscovado sugar dominate its aroma. There is a good roastiness (barley, cocoa nibs) Pours black, small tan head, soapy and not lasting, no laces. Tastes roasty-bitter and moderately sweet (great balance), with strong coffee, dark chocolate, muscovado sugar. Lactose has a minimal impact in flavour, and I can celebrate! Medium bodied (for the size of the beer), low carbonation, extremely hidden booze. Evil. Great brew, definitely the best Italian Impy I've ever tried! Well balanced, with bastard ABV, great taste that vaguely recalls Tiramisù. Great brew!

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2021 Lattina. Il gusto al naso resta attratto da frutta passita, cioccolato fondente e tiramisù. La finezza olfattiva è elevata, permanendo in maniera considerevole. Il manto birroso superiore color marrone castagno resiste poco. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è strutturato e multidimensionale. Il dolce è pesante. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al palato prevalgono impressioni di miele, cioccolato fondente, caffè, liquirizia, tiramisù, vaniglia, frutta secca, un accenno di resinoso e agrumi.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2020 bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma cappuccino quasi inesistente, colore marrone/nero, al naso 100% tiramisù, in bocca 100% tiramisù, carbonazione piatta, oily, corpo strutturato, alcool perfetto, molto dolce con amaro moderato. UPDATED: DEC 16, 2020 Bottle @home. Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma color cappuccino media, discretamente persistente. Naso intensissimo, note di cioccolato, cappuccino, leggera vaniglia, crema pasticciera. In bocca è dolce all'attacco, rotonda, con chiusura appena amara a bilanciare. Corpo pieno, carbonazione medio-leggera. Un vero spettacolo!

UPDATED: OCT 26, 2020 Spicy warm on the nose. Not sweet or dessert-like for a pastry stout. Good full flavoured clean beer though. About avergae for the style. Lambrate milano
