COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our red ale is a cross between a northwest red ale and an India pale ale hence the style India red ale. The dark amber-colored brew uses a variety of crystal malts and premium 2-row malt as well as Munich malt to create a full bodied ale. Generous additions of Chinook, centennial and simcoe hops impart abundant hop character. Together the malts and hops generate a tasty rich and quaffable ale.

UPDATED: DEC 14, 2019 Keg at BrewDog Leicester. Reddish drown, hazy with oy a spectre of white head. Malty and fruity aroma with resin, strawberry, bubblegum, spruce. It tastes more bitter than I wpuld have thought. The initial taste is sweet but it finishes with a chalky back-of-the-tongue bitterness with some sourness on the finish as well. Hard to taste a lot beyond that. Medium body, heavily carbonated. Very nice despite quite a few flaws.

16floz can, No date (or the off center code stamp has rubbed off too much), 7% ABV, $1.75 unit cost, imperial glass of unknown shape. Red (copper) - yes. Beige two finger head on the pour settles to a nice layer. Decent aroma consists of musty caramel and general citrus. Balanced is the palate with citrus tinged pine hop flavor edging out buttered toast from the malts. A very drinkable, pretty good beer.

Aroma has earthy muddled hops with a generous amount of malt. Great red color with an off white head. Tastes malty with a dash of spicy hops in the aftertaste. Good thick palate. Not bad.

ElDesmadre (6779) - Jaworze, POLAND - MAY 31, 2016
Can. Floral, less citrusy, slightly honeyish oxidised. Light nutty in the malty finish, shy hint of melon. Very tasty despite the oxidisation.
