UPDATED: APR 1, 2019 Bottle, 330ml at The Museu da Cerveja, Lisbon, Portugal. Hazy brown with off white head. Spotted this on the beer menu whilst passing so decided to try it. Thin, grainy, cereal with caramel, toffee sweetness. Served icy cold. Dodgy.

330ml bottle (Museu da Cerveja, Lisboa). You'd expect that Museum of beer would know how to serve beer? No you are wrong. Served fuckin freezing cold. You can get more taste out of chewing ice cubes than from this one! Some roast detected, but overall I can't taste anything except Antarctic. Ohh well....

330ml Can: Pours a jet black with thin tan head that dissipates quickly. Lacing. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt and some caramel. Slight liquorice notes on flavour.medium bodied, medium carbonation, low bitterness. Overall a very close second to castle milk stout. Very nice.

330ml can. Dark brown with tan head. Coffee and chocolate aroma. A bit light on flavour. Perhaps it’s because the colour is making expect the flavour of a porter or stout. Mouthfeel is fairly thin. Still, a reasonably enjoyable beer. Sampled as part of the SAB Beers For Africa box.

Eye: pours a dark brown color with a quickly dissipating white head and medium carbonation. Nose: dark fruit, chocolate and caramel perhaps Mouth: sweet licorice, dark chocolate and caramel or even vanilla, dark fruits as well (dates perhaps...), a bit watery and not much carbonation though Palate: more bitter notes here, nuts as well but still sweet Overall: nice, very drinkable beer which reminds me more of a mix between dark and porter.

Bottle shared by Caleb, thanks! Pours dark brown with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet dark grains and a strong straw note with a touch of hay. Flavor has earth sweet dark grains with a decent amount of straw and a hint of roast.
