COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Even in 1895, Porter was brewed from the mountain spring in Löbau, and it was a beloved drink in the Lausitz. With our Lausitzer Porter, we successfully continue this brewing tradition. Across the land, the legendarily sweet taste of this unique dark beer has found friends among connoisseurs of dark brews.

AnokaBrewer (673) - Anoka, Minnesota, USA - DEC 26, 2021
UPDATED: JAN 7, 2022 Clear black pour. Very little aroma. Sweet taste, but not a lot of body. I can see why the ratings are lower on this beer.

heno (810) - DENMARK - JUL 28, 2021
UPDATED: JUL 28, 2021 Bottle. Clear reddish dark brown. White head. Aroma is dark malts, straw, cardboard, kinda dusty? Surprisingly sweet, no bitterness to speak of. Soft carbonation. Like a sweet non-alcoholic malt beer that has been open for a while. Not sure I'll finish this.

Rex_Remes (647) - Bonyhad, HUNGARY - OCT 21, 2020
UPDATED: OCT 21, 2020 (500ml bottle, Zossen to Berlin train) AROMA: sweet malt, brown sugar, hint of herb and spice APPEARANCE: respectable darkish brown, light tan head TASTE: quite sweet, follows the nose, brown sugar, a bit syrupy, reminds me of a Malz Bier, PALATE: medium light, smooth and silky, almost no bitterness OVERALL: not really a porter, I like in some ways because reminds me of the Malz beverages I would drink as a child in germany, so more of a sweet beverage than a beer. Kinda basic in most ways, sweet malt is at the forefront.

jann3 (769) - Espoo, FINLAND - SEP 1, 2020
UPDATED: SEP 1, 2020 Pours clear dark reddish brown. Beige head is fizzy and disappears almost completely. Aroma is sweet with ripe berries, caramel and a hint of coffee. Taste is mild and sugary sweet with berry and grain flavours. Just a very faint touch of bitterness at the finish. Too sweet for me. (Poured from a 0,5l bottle, bb 28.02.21)

kluczbork (1798) - Wroclaw, POLAND - MAY 15, 2020
UPDATED: MAY 15, 2020 Bottle. Aroma- very weak nuts and toasted maltiness. That's all. Brown, clear, with a medium, good looking, creamy head and a classy lacing. Taste- very sweet, with very unpleasant wet grain note. Empty in the aftertaste, without any roastiness or bitterness, which could counter this sweetness. Low bodied, with almost no carbonation. Pretty awful.

ophone (1379) - LUXEMBOURG - DEC 6, 2019
UPDATED: DEC 6, 2019 Reddish black with a frothy head. Roasted smell. Sweet malty taste with a roasted note. Low carbonation. I like that beer, but it's way too weak for a usual porter.

Rychuku (664) - POLAND - NOV 9, 2019
UPDATED: NOV 9, 2019 Kolor coli bez piany. Słodka wiśnia w zapachu, może ciut melanoidyn. W smaku słodkie, lekko colowe, lekko chlebowe. Nijakie.
