UPDATED: OCT 3, 2021 Some smoke lemon effervescent fragrance wafts up from the get go. Disappearing smallish white head over a cloudy dull yellow pour. A bitter that cuts short, leaving subtly lemon lozenge taste, in between a sweet and almost sour. Not a strong flavor, more of a hint of lemonade. Refreshing on the palate shared with a moderate warming ABV. Light finish.

UPDATED: MAY 11, 2020 It's not great for a 'beer' per se but I drink it all summer at the lakes when it's hot out. There's simply no better beer on a hot summer day on the water. I'm always glad to see it arrive late spring and sorry to see it go late summer.

UPDATED: FEB 14, 2020 It's been a long time since I had this last, and I think they've improved the recipe. It's less sweet than it was, and the lemon tastes more natural. This would be a great fishing beer, if I fished.

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2019 Refreshing beer for warm summer days, or any day here in Hawaii. Lemon and good wheat beer come together brilliantly - wish it were available all year long. I buy all I can when I see it to stock up as much as I can. Wish distributors here brought more to our area. Light cloudy pour with white head and refreshing citrus aftertaste.

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2019 This is a backlog rating from pre 2011 from a bottle, from notes. When I had this beer it was average to below average for the style and not something I wanted to have again or I just didn't get back to my notes because of my technology at the time. Words to describe this beer are thin, lemony that seems artificial, floral, cleaner like, this is simply not good.
