Lervig’s Jule Bock is a classic Scandinavian style Christmas lager, brewed with caramel malts and a light hoppy touch, this is a real drinker and will hold up well to the richness of your Christmas lunch. A true classic. We like it enough to say its should not just be for Christmas season… but hey that’s what dark beers are suited for these days!

tmrmwel (3784) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 26, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 26, 2021 Bottle, two months after bottling. Pours an ever so slightly hazy maroon with a small creamy, off white head. Aroma is grainy malts with bread, caramel, nutty notes and spicy leather, as well as dark fruity notes. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is dark malts with caramels, coffee, and dark fruits, as well as earthy herbal notes with a dry finish.

wheresthepath (3104) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - DEC 24, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 24, 2021 Bottle from the Grumpy Goat. Chestnut-brown with a lasting beige head. Caramel, brown sugar, brown bread and a touch of grass. On its own it's just ok, but it did go rather nicely with a smoked fish platter on Christmas Eve.

Rune (21325) - Tromso, NORWAY - DEC 19, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 19, 2021 Draught, half-pint shared with Finn at Exale Brewing. Pretty surprising to find a Norwegian beer on tap at a taproom in northern London. Dissipating beige head, good lacing on the glass, clear dark brown body. Brown malty nose, nuts and caramel, inviting. Good tasting with caramel malts, dark bread, and nuts. A bit doughy to a mid-sweet malty finish. Yuletide feel, alright. (The Blackhorse Beer Mile, London 21.11.2021).
