"En ekte by skal ha et fotballag i Eliteserien, ei domkirke og et eget bryggeri". Takket være Kristoffer Stensrud kan vi skåle for det, med lokalt øl. Legacy Lager is in memory of Kristoffer Stensrud, the founder of LERVIG who we will dearly miss. He built the brewery up, kept it alive through good and bad years, and never wavered in encouraging us to achieve a very simple goal: to make the best beer possible. We could have not asked for a better person to have behind the brewery, and he was instrumental in the DNA that makes up LERVIG. We wish to celebrate the life of our founder Kristoffer Stensrud with his favourite beer: Pilsner in a bottle. We share this beer with him in our hearts and we drink to his honour! Long live LERVIG and rest in peace Kristoffer!

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2022 Gift from Holmen1. Bottle enjoyed at MB2 09.01.22. Clear pale golden. Diminishing white head. Decent lager taste of meadowy hops, fresh grass and pilsner malt. Dry mouthfeel. Refreshing grassy hop bittterness is lingering on. Good quaffability.

UPDATED: OCT 29, 2021 Bottle from Canteen. Pours almost clear golden with a small creamy short lived head. Grainy aroma with some citrus and grassy hops. Taste is on the dry side, too heavy carbonated, destroys this beer for me, but it got some fine balance qualities as well, with a nice dry herbaland grassy finish

UPDATED: OCT 26, 2021 0,33 flaske fra Lervig Canteen, hjemme samme dag: klar lys gylden med ok skum. Pilsnermalt, urter, hint av citrus og furunål. Slank, elegant og meget forfriskende med fin bitterhet i avslutningen.
