UPDATED: JAN 8, 2022 Copenhagwn 8/1 2022. 75 cl corked bottle from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. Simple white label with a red border at the bottom. The version I am drinking is from the 2020 blend. Pours clear dark maroon with a red hue and a mall bubbly white head. Settles as thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing- Aroma is intense with a strong sweet fruity odor mingling with a more subdued tart scent. Cherries in abundance, sugar, vanilla, almond and marzipan. Light sourish touch of tart fruit. Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture. Flavor is is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong sourness. Aftertaste is sweet beers. Lingering. Finish is sugary and a bit sticky. Quite on the sweet side and with enough alcohol to keep it interesting

UPDATED: OCT 29, 2021 Bottle. Pours reddy, brown with white head that laces heavily. Delicious woody aromas, along with almond and cherry. Cherry forward flavours, slightly sweet, but enough sourness to balance it, along with the smoothness of the oak.

UPDATED: MAY 21, 2021 330ml bottle. Murky reddish-brown, pink tinge head, looks great. Lovely sweet and tangy cherry aroma, Taste is the same with berry notes, light acidity which I prefer, has a bitter bite in the finish. Quite smooth with soft carbonation. Excellent

UPDATED: MAY 9, 2021 #4055 Vintage 2015 Almost clear, red, minimal white head. Aroma of vanilla-strawberry ice cream. Taste is heavily sweet, vinous, strawberries, cherries, barrel, sugar. Medium body, high carbonation.

UPDATED: APR 24, 2021 Bottle 0.33l, vintage 2015. Lightly cloudy, reddish colored. AROMA- sour cherry, sweet, strawberry compot, plums, aged, touch of barrel character. FLAVOR- moderately sweet, just slightly sour, slightly bitter, cherry, strawberry and plum jam. Medium to fuller bodied. Sweet and tasty.

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2020 Dark reddish-brownish color and a white head. Tart cherry nose. Less sweet and a cerry, sour, vanilla taste.

UPDATED: NOV 14, 2020 Just extra-ordinary. Little bit like a wine. Nice sweet beer, balanced with sour taste. Not so huge head. Decent ++.
