UPDATED: MAR 5, 2021 750 mL bottle. Mostly clear golden. Smells of strong ginger and lemon acidity. Light dried grass and oak. Tastes quite tart. Lemon and ginger sourness. Drying oak finish. Well carbonated. Very dry. Quite sour. Nice ginger flavor, but also very sour.

UPDATED: FEB 27, 2021 0.75 l bottle from Alko Arkadia, Helsinki. Golden, clear, sparkling, fast vanishing head (when cold, when the beer gets warmer the head gets bigger). Aroma: Christmas tree, i.e. spruce resin Taste is also at first something like a Christmas tree. Later on when the bottle and beer gets warmer the taste of ginger comes up. Not heavily spiced, which is good since this is also dry. Not a bad idea at all.

I can't remember. lovely color, large pillow head of 5 fingers of marshmallow color. smells...ginger.earthy leather and ginger sweet dessert.spicy pepper like ginger up front, leather cheese and lemon finish. blends well together, not going to drink a lot it though. Really good carbonation.

Cloudy golden colour. The ginger is quite evident, luckily there is also a strong funky note. Very good Lambic, aggressive, funky, with nice astringency; the mild ginger is distracting.
Very good.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2020 750ml from Spirits of Mt. Seymor at Ash's shared with Alex, Andrey, and Phill. Appearance: hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: quite a ginger forward with some nice funk. Taste: along the same lines with some soapy notes. Overall: ok.

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2020 Bottle: Poured a bright golden color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of tart notes with light ginger notes and some light funky yeast notes. Taste is also a good mix of ginger notes with some light funky yeast notes with some tart notes also noticeable. Body is pretty full for style with good carbonation. Another enjoyable creation from a great Lambic producer.

UPDATED: APR 6, 2020 Bottle... This is pretty much like Lindemans' other Belgian-style fruit beers and Cuveé René, but with a very pronounced ginger aroma and flavor. Pretty awesome, as I love fresh ginger and Jamaican ginger beer.

UPDATED: JAN 24, 2020 Bottle at tasting. Aroma of soft ginger, brett, funk, old orange hop and wheat. Taste has soft ginger, brett, funk, wheat, orangy hop, wheat, horseblanket and a funky spicey finish. Not bad.

UPDATED: JAN 19, 2020 18-01-20 // 750ml bottle shared with the local crew. 2017 bottled version. Clear golden. White head. Gret ginger nose. Well carbonated. Lambic sourish but more on the sweet side. Soft gonger spice. Very well balanced.

UPDATED: JAN 15, 2020 Clear gold with a white head. Aroma is ginger, wood, leather and lemon. Taste is medium sour and light bitter.
