UPDATED: SEP 14, 2021 Bottle shared by R. Dark golden with white head. Alive and kicking! Lemon and grass over a musky and oaky funk. Superbly integrated funk, wood and fruit. A treat!

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2021 (Bottle) Dark golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, sourish nose with notes of lemon, grapefruit, sour grapes, barnyard, gooseberries and horse stable. Fruity, tart taste with grapefruit, lemon, sour grapes, unripe fruit, barnyard, cobweb, cellar and a dry finish with a mild bitterness and a generous, fresh acidity. Medium body, dry. Solid and well made gueuze. Great beer.

UPDATED: OCT 21, 2020 #3868 Slightly cloudy, pale orange, small white head. Aroma of leather, vinous, grapes. Taste is strongly tart, dry, lightly sour, vinous, must, berries, malr, sour finish, light leather tones.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2020 Trade with boutip a few years ago. Aroma: Citrus, mostly lemon, barnyard. App: Cloudy copper, huge white head, huge lacing. Taste and palate: Medium body, mineral, high carbonation, moderate dry acidity finish. Overall: Wow! This is sooo good! I'm glad I kept a bottle of this one and didn't trade it. The mouthfeel is near perfect. I love the nose and the acidity and dryness. It aged so damn well. Tempted to give this beer a higher rating... Tempting... I guess 4.3 is ok, 4.4 would be too.

UPDATED: SEP 7, 2020 Bottle 0.75l from our archive. Almost clear, deep gold to orange colored. AROMA- sour and wild, pale plums, peach, vinous, leather, flowery, wood. FLAVOR- neutral, moderately sour, slightly tart, sour apple, vinous, leather, pale plums, flowery, herbs. Medium to fuller bodied. Great.

UPDATED: MAY 29, 2020 Bottle: Poured a golden color lambic with a large foamy head with excellent retention and some great lacing. Aroma of funk, oak, green apple with light tart notes is quite sublime. Taste is also a great mix of oak, green apple notes with some balanced funk level and a dry finish. Body is average for style with some good level of carbonation. Well balanced overall with great level of complexity and some great drinkability. Ages very well and I believe will continue to age well.

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2020 Restrained funky aroma in a golden pour. Similarly laid back tart taste with all the subtlety and complexity one expects from a Belgian master.

UPDATED: DEC 26, 2019 Przywozity lambik. Ładnie dziki, dużo skórzanych nut, rustykalnych, ser plesniowy w tle. W smaku trochę pustawo, spora kwaśność i wyraźna cierpkość.
