COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our super tasty Hazelnut Milk Stout. With hazelnut aromatics, coffee and chocolate notes this is a great marriage of flavours. Unfiltered to retain the luscious taste this product contains lactose (milk sugar) and oats which combine to give a slightly sweet but smooth body.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2020 (Cask at Cambridge Beer Festival 2018, Monday) (7:4:5:2:11=2.9) Anna's notes: Fairly dark brown. There's a pleasant hazelnut/walnut element, particularly in the aroma. In the mouth, there is some bitterness and sweet malts. While this doesn't have the failing of being slimy or overly lactish - in fact, it's slightly watery - the most noteworthy aspect is the sweetness. This could have been tasty but is just too sweet.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2019 Cask @ The Abbey. Pours a deep dark brown, creamy topping. Chocolate appears on the nose, chocolate galore on the palate.. a touch sweet perhaps, some hazelnuts, soft roast, distant coffee hints.. a rather pleasing chocolatey porter.

Dense dark colour with hints of red when held up to light. Half finger sudsy tan head. Big nose with coffee, chocolate, lactose and hazelnut. Body is a hardly a medium, it’s less than I anticipated and no slickness. Great flavour hit and they followed the nose lactose sweetness but then there’s a nice bitter kicker comes through Enjoyable.

BrewPupil31 (33) - South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - APR 13, 2019
UPDATED: APR 13, 2019 Black with a diminishing grubby cream head, odors of coffee and chocolate. This is a very sweet milkstout with a rich flavour combining some chocolate and hazel nut with a very mild bitter finish. I bought a mini keg of the stuff as it was discounted and pretty pleased with the results but it is a small glass drink. Would recommend though there are some better milk stouts out there.
