Pours murky amber with a medium-sized off-white head. settles as thin patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium-intense with an sweet odor of canned fruits, malts and a grainy sourness. Canned peach, sugar, cardboard, bread. Cider-like sweetness. Sour grains peeking in.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderate sour-ish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers shortly.
The nose is quite strange with a fruity almost cider-like sweetness and a lot of malt. Flavor is more balanced and less strange.

Aroma of malts and biscuits with a hint of roast. The flavour is malty but not very sweet, notes of toast, also some medium roast malts, hints of caramel and earthy hops.

Overall: a bit darker than expected for a california common - but a nice first encounter with Løkken Bryghus.

Caramelly linoleum aroma with spicy herbal notes. Sweet papery caramelly taste with mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Sweetish cinnamon and caramel aftertaste with vanilla notes. Quite nice and subtle, and certainly easy-drinking. (0.33l bottle, from Føtex Frederikshavn.)
