Pours murky amber with a medium-sized off-white head. settles as thin patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing. Aroma is medium-intense with an sweet odor of canned fruits, malts and a grainy sourness. Canned peach, sugar, cardboard, bread. Cider-like sweetness. Sour grains peeking in. Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, tingling texture. Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderate sour-ish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers shortly. The nose is quite strange with a fruity almost cider-like sweetness and a lot of malt. Flavor is more balanced and less strange.

UPDATED: DEC 21, 2019 330 ml bottle, from SPAR Hirtshals. ABV is 4.8%. Deep brown colour, moderate off-white to beige head. Aroma of malts and biscuits with a hint of roast. The flavour is malty but not very sweet, notes of toast, also some medium roast malts, hints of caramel and earthy hops.

UPDATED: FEB 16, 2019 Bottle, 33cl. Pours clear amber with a small, staying, creamy off-white head. Aroma has toasted caramel, dusty. Low carbonation, fine dry and slightly creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has dusty caramel malts, light doughy. Mild fruity. Not impressive.

Tap@Ølfestival København 2018, Copenhagen - golden amber with a white head. Light fruity and sweet malty with some caramel and toffeeish notes, some grainy light grassy action, medium to light body, malty and grassy hoppy bitter finish.

Bottle @ Løkken Badehotel. Amber with a soapy off white head. Aroma of cereal, malt, caramel and hops. Medium body and taste slightly bitter but with enough sweetness to balance.

Bottle @ Wordenskjolds. Appearance: pours clear amber with good off-white soapy head and lacing. aroma/taste: grain, light caramel and some light fruity notes. palette: medium malty aroma, average carbonation, medium body, average sweetness, somewhat balanced by light to medium bitterness, average duration and a watery texture. Overall: a bit darker than expected for a california common - but a nice first encounter with Løkken Bryghus.

Gusher, contained by careful opening. Small offwhite head. Clear brown body with light carbonation and a few tiny particles. Caramelly linoleum aroma with spicy herbal notes. Sweet papery caramelly taste with mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Sweetish cinnamon and caramel aftertaste with vanilla notes. Quite nice and subtle, and certainly easy-drinking.
