COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is the popular C-Note’s big brother. It has a caramel malty body with an extremely intense hop profile. Brewed with all seven of the "C" hops - Crystal, Cluster, Cascade, Chinook, Centennial, Columbus and Challenger - it has a piney, resiny flavor. This is the only Lompoc holiday beer sold in bottles.

Bottle from New Seasons Market. Dark amber, small foamy head. Big meaty malty aroma. Taste too goes straight for the malts, huge leathery, musty pipe tobacco. Dry, gentle bitterness finishes this.

On tap at Oaks bottom. Such a deal. Piney hops with caramel and lemon. Pretty reddish amber with an off white head. Full flavor, all them hops, but you don’t get tongue-numbed, with some cherry notes. Snappy good.

Draft at Uber, Seattle. Dark orange, big heavy foam. Deep sticky hop aroma. Sticky apple + citrus. Malty, nice.

"Better than c note, but still a little overly malty sweet for my taste. Full body, good flavor but not aromatic enough to be a really good iipa. Ok..."

Bottle. Pours a mostly clear dark amber color with a moderate off-white head on it. Nose is very malty, and missing a lot of the hops; I get bread and stale grass, and it’s really disappointing. Taste is slightly bitter, but with a competing amount of sweetness to it that doesn’t mix well. Not great. would be better fresh, I suspect.

22 oz bomber bought at Roth’s Sunnyslope Market in S.Salem. $5.49 Cold and snowy evening hope this helps! Slightly hazed amber coloured beer in the glass, with a nice looking large creamy/thick eggshell white head. Very prominent aromas, deep rich chocolate fudge maltiness balanced by huge spruce and resinous hop.Impressive. Taste is similar to the noce very luxuriant and ends with a nice long lasting dark chocolate style bitterness. Good mouth feel..lowish carbonation and smooth. I really liked this one. I like the maltier IIPAs so this suited me.

Bomber. Citrus and pine with a lot of malty sweetness. Light bitterness throughout dominated by sticky sweetness. Finish is balanced but again... way too sweet.

Got a 22oz bottle of this one. Poured a slightly hazy golden orange color with a slightly off-white head. Aroma was some light citrus notes, but this one was dominated by malts - not sure if it is an older bottle, but I was under the impression that it was this year’s brew. Pretty decent regardless of whatever might have been missing in the hop department.

Pours a hazy golden brown with thin cap of tan head. Aroma is citrus hops, strong caramel malt back, some maple syrup there too. Taste is full citrus and pine hops with an ample malt support. Hops linger nicely. Finish is quick but pleasing. Decent.
