A black beer with a minimal head. Aroma is roasted and caramel, notes of brown sugar and licorice. Taste is roasted malt and toffee. Oily mouthfeel. Low bitterness and thin body. Sweet

Dark Brown color with a medium persistent beige head. Aroma is sweety and fruity, remember a belgian ale, but with notes of roasted malty and coffee and some tobaco and toffee. Almost not much chocolate detected.(Complex aroma). Flavor is a quite sweety and fruity and some roasted malt, again a almost not detected chocolate. Mouthfeel is sweet. Not bitterness at all. rare to be a STOUT.

Bottle, black with a frothy head. A sweet corn aroma again, though some malt in this one. More roasted malt int he flavour, but that corn comes through again. Not good and another drain pour for this brewer.

Gazza (727) - Worcester, Worcestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 28, 2007
Bottle at Cruzat, BsAs. A black beer which promised a lot with a good liquoricey aroma, but was just too sweet and caramelly with little of interest to live up to the initial promise. Too simple for the strength.

Appearance: dark brown color. Little head, beige color; and low persistency. Aroma: sweet malts, candy, intensive toasty, grain coffee and sweet chocolate. Fruitiness of red raisins, plums and dried figs. Vanilla touch. Soft hoppy. Flavor: sweet mainly, intensive toasty cereals and candy. chocolate and coffee touches is soft for the style. Fruitiness is similar at aroma, this is, plums, red raisins and berries. Reminiscences of vintage wine and nuts. Finish medium-warm with presence of dry-toasty, low hoppyness and metallic tone. Palate: medium body, semi-oily texture. Medium carbonation. Advisable, but discrete in the style. (sorry for my english)

UPDATED: JAN 29, 2007 Bottled, thanks Fukito! Very dark brown, creamy beige head. Buttery and roasty with some chocolate and a touch of blackberries. Medium bodied with soft mouthfeel. Rather sweet and sugary with low hop rate.

Dirty hazy brown ale with a thick off white head. Lightly grassy infected aroma, not much chocolate detected. In mouth, a dryish choclate malt, with some light floral hops and some strange off flavours. Not bad right now, but will get worse. Bottle bought at Supermercado Todo, 5$AR.
