Bottle @ Steve0’s house. Thanks doodler. Lightly hazy yellow appearance. Tons of peach in the flavor. Good carbonation, light white wine. This is good.

750 mL bottle. Clear golden with a small white head. Smells of stone fruit, oak, and some sour apples. Tastes of stone fruit, but I wouldn’t have confidently said peaches, hefty oak, caramel and lightly grainy flavors. Strong sourness, but not overpowering. Medium body with medium carbonation. Golden sour with a hint of stone fruit at this point, but it’s still pretty tasty.

RBSG. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a medium white head. A big oak and fruity nose. Soft peaches, oak, sour sawdust, some citrus, fresh floral elements. The overall base is sweet peaches. Quite good.

750ml bottle thanks to Jer. Pours out a hazy straw topped with a small white head. Nose is great ripe peach sweetness some nice tartness yeast and oak barrel notes. Taste is more of the ripe peachy sweetness and the tart funk.

UPDATED: JUN 24, 2015 The was another bottle from the vertical Veritas tasting at the RBSG thanks to Jared. It showed up in the glass a gold color with white head. Nose is full of stuff, with fermented peach, and a lot of essences of funk. I use funk to describe those various aromas and flavors from wild ales that I love but cannot identify. Medium in body. The flavor here is just as complex and I think I can identify sour peach, some wood, and again the melange of funk Finishes tart and tasty. Another excellent beer from this series.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very complex, with loads of tart peaches, barnyard funk, and low acidity. Flavour is along the same lines, with loads of tart peaches, loads of funk, and low acidity and vinegar. Finishes oaky, tart and woody. An excellent blend.

Bottle thanks to Jared, shared at RBSG Grand tasting. Pours a hazy gold with small frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is peach, oak, funk. Medium mouth, funky, wood, peach, tart, very nice.

Woodshed 3.0! Sample courtesy of Norm (don’t move away Norm, please). Bottle pours with a slightly hazy gold body that has a big bubbled white head. The aroma offers up some funky notes, lemon and then a mix of peach and funky yeastiness. The taste is funky and tart and acidic with notes of peach and tannin tart peach skins. The funky yeast notes run amuck here pulling along tartness and a big acidic to vinegar sensation. This is a bit restrained from being out right puckering, which agrees with my palate.
