Our take on the iconic blonde session beer of the Bavarian beer garden. A crisp and wonderfully malty Helles Lager with sweet honey and floral notes for the thirst quenching refreshment.

ManVsBeer (16147) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 5, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 5, 2022 Can from Lidl Supermarket, Todmorden. Clear golden with a small head. Mid-malty ale, its taste doesn't get much beyond that.

zacgillbanks (7949) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - JAN 2, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 2, 2022 440ml Can from Lidl, Wrekenton, Gateshead. Hazy golden coloured with a thick white head of foam. It has a gentle toffee and fruity flavour with grassy notes and malty on the light, smooth bitter-sweet finish. Ok.

Beese (12774) - Tooting, London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 6, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 6, 2021 440ml can from Lidl, Summerstown. Guess you get what you pay for. Mostly clear deep golden with a vanishing head. Aroma of overly sweet grains, fake sugary notes and chewy sweets. Really sweet flavour. Imbalanced. Not particularly quaffable. Not straight up awful, but not particularly pleasant in any regard.

rauchbier (4713) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - NOV 28, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 28, 2021 Can, from Lidl. Faintly hazy gold, thin but lasting white head and gentle condition. Chalky sweet grain with a touch of fruity esters, a honeyed note and a floral hop note, quite full in the mouth with more honey sweet grain, some fruity red berry notes and a chalky hop bitterness. Finish is lightly sweet with muted bitteness

BeerViking (7883) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 17, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 17, 2021 Can from Lidl, pours deep gold with a big though fairly fast-settling foam, bready nose with hints of lemon and sherbet, malty-sweet and lightly hoppy-dry - yes, a very nice example of a Munich Helles.

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2021 Golden clear appearance with a small head.Lovely crisp flavour with lots of maltiness.Medium body with some pretty powerful flavours floating around. No offence but I cant believe I bought this from Lidl. Its a really nice beer and makes a chamge from so many bland IPA's floating around at the moment.

dragnet101 (2331) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 22, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 22, 2021 Can from Lidl as part of their beer festival. Pours a clear gold with small quickly receding head. Aroma of sweet malts, grains, honey, light floral note. There is a certain crispness to this with lingering honey note and sweetness although not overbearing despite mild bitterness. Good light to medium body, quite smooth. Nice.
