COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Some think that the right IPA, india pale ale style beer should be very strong and very bitter. No matter how we like strong beers and high amounts of hops, we don’t think that a beer designed just like that is the product we want you to taste. Therefore we’ve created Lucky Bastard India. India with it’s 6,5 % alcohol is a strong beer, but not that strong to make you go to sleep after a first pint. At the same time, we’ve tried to use the hops rather in a way to concentrate the beautiful aroma and taste of citruses and ripe dark fruits, but not in a way that brings the strong bitterness along which will discourage rather than alure you from drinking. The result is bold, yet well balanced beer. Living beer India is an experience on it’s own.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2022 Can. Slightly hazy deep golden color with a medium sized frothy white head. Aromanof floral hops. Bitter taste with some fruity notes. Medium body .

UPDATED: NOV 11, 2021 Barva tmavsi do medena. Pena husta a trvanliva. Vune citrusy, chmel, malinko ovoce. Chut lehce ovoce, vyssi stredni horkost. Stredni az lehci telo, citrusovy dojezd. Chutna pitelna ipa, pekne vyvazena. Tipoval bych nizsi voltaz.

UPDATED: NOV 4, 2019 Pours a hazy golden yellow on tap with fluffy white foam that dissipates to leave moderate lace. Aroma of floral and piney hop notes over a pale malt base with a touch of fruity yeast. Taste follows, light on most accounts and a little more malty and yeast driven than most new school IPAs. But decent enough for a Czech take on IPA.

UPDATED: AUG 4, 2019 Hazy gold with big foamy head that filled 3/4 of my glass on first pour. Aroma is sort of muddled, with notes pine and resin. Taste dank and earthy, bitter but not overwhelming with this sort of dry mouth feel that i would associate with ash in a dark beer. Different than most IPAs nowadays.

Bottle. Gold, almost clear, medium white head. Aroma of jackfruit, grapefruit, herbs. Taste is harsh bitter, neutral, fruity, grapefruit, citrusy peel. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle 0.75l. Cloudy, deep gold to light orange colored. AROMA- fermented, flowery, citrusy, tropical fruit. FLAVOR- neutral, bitter, citrusy, tropical fruit, flowery, floral, grassy. Medium bodied.

Tap. Hazy amber gold with a medium white head. Grass, tropical fruity, orange, lime, hints of whey, peach, a bit herbal. Quite sweet, but not sticky, with a faint tart note and a medium bitter finish. A light medium body with lively carbonation and a slightly fruity, zesty-bitter finish round this of quite well.
