03.06.2018 -- 0.33l bottle for free from qoqa, thanks! bb 20.07.2018. pours a murky dark orange with a quickly disappearing off-white head. aroma of mango, passionfruit, oranges, nuts, caramel. very tropical fruity. flavour of mango, peach, lemon, funk. chili kicks in towards the finish. I like chili normally, but this one would have probably been even better without it.

Idiosynkrasie (13823) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAY 19, 2018
330ml bottle [6.7% abv as per label]. Murky, orangey, dark golden colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Juicy, tropical fruity, hoppy aroma with notes of mango and hints of passion fruit is accompanied by initially mild, peppery spicy flavours which become more influential via the accumulative effect that is typical for chili. Taste is peppery spicy and tropical fruity, notes of chili, hints of mango, passion fruit and pineapple. Chutney IPA, sadly a bit unbalanced, i.e. overspiced.

Bottle at BeerDock Leek. Pours a murky orange colour with a medium white head. Aroma of mango, pineapple, some orange, slight chilli, a little peach and subtle herbal hops. Taste of peach, pineapple, some mango, slight chilli, orange, a little straw and subtle bready malts. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A sweetish, fruit and hot chilli bitterness in the finish. It starts really fresh and fruity, then the heat kicks in late on. A sweet but spicy finish. An interesting beer.

On keg at Six Degrees North, Edinburgh. Appearance - golden with a nice lacy head and a slight haze. Nose - apricots and peaches. No chilli as yet. Taste - apricots again. Peach melba. Very subtle chilli warmth and green chilli note. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture. The finish is dry with the slightest amount of heat. Overall - great stuff. The way an extra ingredient should be used. With subtlety.
