ib99 (75) - - JUL 18, 2020
UPDATED: JUL 18, 2020 Cloudy yellow colour. Nice for a sour. Wouldnt look to buy again. In between a pale ale and a sour. Has plenty of sour hints without being too sour. Hint of gooseberry / grape flavour

SampleMuse49 (81) - ENGLAND - JUL 16, 2020
UPDATED: JUL 16, 2020 Pours a pale watery gold with a 3 finger foamy white head, which dissapates slowly leaving some lacing on the glass. Aroma is fruity, hoppy. Quite sour on the palatte, with something between a pale ale and a lager underneath the sourness. I got a bit of salt but couldn't really locate the gooseberry or sea buckthorne. I'm starting to realise that sour beers are not for me, which is hardly the beer's fault, but I wouldn't pick this one up again.

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2020 16-06-2020; can; at home (bought at Saveur Bière, as part of their June 2020 discovery box). The looks of the beer are allright. The colour is a golden yellow. The beer has a nice yellow glow. It is slightly hazy. On top some frothy slightly off-white foam is formed. Foam retention is average. A thin drape is left. Nice lacing is left on the glass. The aroma of the beer is alright. It is a bit mild. Malts are bisquity, but very mild. Hops give some citrus aromas and some grassy touches. In the back there is a slight gooseberry touch, but also not that strong. Some yeasty sour notes are there, with some Brett. But, also not that strong. I expected a bit more aroma. The taste is allright too. Again, it doesn't really pop. It should have been more intense. Now it is a bit weak. Bitter hops, sour bret, the added salt is there, but very mildly. Sweetness of the hops. Weak, but balanced. The palate of the beer is fine. Light body, thin texture and medium carbonation. The finish of the beer is filled with some light floral notes and some gooseberry. Also some sour and salt notes are there. But, also not that long or intense. All in all, a bit too mild. I'd expect more to be honest.
