AWISLguy (5965) - Wisconsin, USA - DEC 17, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 17, 2021 500ml bottle from Batesville Liquor in Batesville, IN. Date was 2 1/2 months ago. Dark brown pour. Aroma has roast & sweet malts, with some sugar and lactose. Taste is of sweet and roasted malts, leaning caramelly more than coffee-flavored. Quite dry. Somewhat disappointing for one labeled as a 'coffee stout', and from these guys. 13.4

Flavor provides quality coffee, chocolate, smoky, roasty, earthy notes with a toffee touch. Texture features decent body and peppy fizz. Fall into a good coffee stout.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2021 16oz bottle. Great looking Stout. Beige head, fluffy and steady. Really nice base beer. The coffee is there, but isn't that flavorful. Excellent, clean, well executed beer.

ctipping (3902) - Florida, USA - NOV 2, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 2, 2021 500 mL bottle. Black and a little murky. Smells of roasted malt, coffee, light grapefruit hops. Tastes of coffee and roasted malt in equal proportion. Coffee is pleasantly roasty with the slightest hint of acidity. Roasted malt and a tinge of sweetness. Grapefruit hops in the finish.. Medium light. First bottle I had was perfect with zero coffee acidity. This one has a tinge. But it's otherwise perfect.

ClarkVV (9063) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 11, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 11, 2021 Draught at Canary Square, 10/6/21. Dark mahogany colored body with untested clarity. Small, beige head shows low-to-moderate retention. Big coffee nose with softer vanilla, light honey and plentiful dark fruits. Quite aromatic, enjoyable and not dominated by anything, with no alcohol noted. Soft, moderately sweet and with a strong coffee character showing tons of roast, big fruitiness, lightly honey/cake-like malts and reasonable bitterness to balance. Body is lighter than expected, perhaps, for a rich coffee stout, but in light of its relatively very small size, it's understandable, and furthermore impressive how much flavor is packed in there. Still, would like a little bit more oomph to the texture as it gets very watery on the finish.
