COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
My interpretation of an Irish stout, with an extra portion of choice barley, special and aromatic malts to give the beer its distinctive full-bodied flavor. A robust beer of deep, dark color with an aroma of roasted malt combined with the taste of sweet caramel, delicious dark chocolate notes and a hint of wild berries.

Sit back and enjoy a firework of flavors and aroma.

Yours,
Marc Goebel

UPDATED: JUL 24, 2021 750ml Bottle from REWE Supermarket, Saarburg, Germany. Aged for around 1 year. Very dark brown-copper coloured with a large tan head of foam. It has a very rich chocolate, plum and oak flavour with vanilla notes, liquorice, roasted notes and more dried fruit on the warming, smooth, spicy finish. Excellent!

UPDATED: MAY 30, 2021 Buying this beer at the karlstadt, at Freiburg am Breisgau, two years ago. Opening the big one, on the last thursday with my wife. It was the last beer before to sleep and it was a right option. The color is brown, black and troubled, ordinary carbonation for the style, white and brown foam. A good and classical chocolate stout. I could say that this one is rather on the English way, smooth at the palate, creamy, malty, roasted malt, sweet side of chocolate, vanilla, discreet note of hop at the final, good job from an interesting special serie of Maisel.

Smak gorzka czekolada, lekko kwaskowata kawa, do tego nieco słodyczy, trochę rozwodnione, delikatnie czuć alkohol (w zapachu ukryty), praliny, śliwki w czekoladzie, paloność. Piwo ładnie ułożone i smaczne.
