UPDATED: SEP 21, 2020 Pours a clear, pale amber with a frothy white head, and a moderately sweet malt aroma with a hint of citrus fruit. A highly carbonated mouthfeel carries a citrus hop flavour on top of a malty backbone, with some toffee sweetness apparent, and some dry bitterness in the finish. Satisfying enough without being overly challenging, and not really an IPA.

UPDATED: SEP 14, 2020 On tap - high carbonation giving decent white head over clear golden orange base. Slight citrus aroma. Ok mouthfeel. Citrus, grapefruit tasting - ok. Keeps tang to aftertaste.

UPDATED: MAR 5, 2020 On tap @The Bear of Rodborough-Gloucestershire. Aroma : Lightly toasted sweet caramel malt, a splash of grapefruit juice, hints of tropical fruits/pine/grass. Taste : As nose. Bittersweet balance is good but it's thin & watery with understated flavours. Falls well short of being an 'American Style IPA', definitely an insipid APA!

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2019 Gezapft. Goldener Körper, hohe Schaumkrone. Aroma: Süß, Malz, Gras, Getreide, etwas Kaffee/Karamell. Taste: Mittlere Süße, Zitronenschale, fruchtig. Etwas Karamell. Moderat Bitter.

UPDATED: DEC 27, 2019 Keg (Digbeth Works, Birmingham) (6:3:6:2:11=2.8) Simple clean fruity hops and caramel aroma. A bit watery palate. Sweet malty taste, gentle bitterness. Simnple, but drinkable hoppy ale.

UPDATED: NOV 13, 2019 Tap at Manchester airport breakfast time. Amber pour. Little grass, malt and caramel. Not what I would say is typical of an American IPA. Low bitterness. But pleasant enough beverage despite deceiving name.

UPDATED: OCT 9, 2019 Half pint on tap. Pours gold to amber with a small white head. Aroma is malt, grass and citrus. Taste is moderately bitter, caramel, grapefruit, orange zest.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2019 Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus malt and hay. Golden with a white head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium body with average carbonation. Dry and bitter finish. Overall a decent Session IPA.

UPDATED: SEP 9, 2019 Malty with toasted oak and citrus hints. Nice appearance and reasonable on palate. Not an IPA though.
