COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A 60 IBU single hop Imperial IPA that displays the more tropical side of the Galaxy hop. Aromas of mango, guava and lemon peel come through on the nose. Belgian Pale Malt, flaked oats and flaked barley create an especially soft body with a fruit juice quality to the flavor profile that is complimented by an underlying hop bite.

beastiefan2k (4714) - Bawlmer, Maryland, USA - MAY 16, 2017
Draft at Victoria brewpub. Lightly hazed gold with sparkling carbonation shooting up the beer. Surface covering lacing but doesn’t stick to the glass. Flavor is moderate bitterness with fruit and assertive green flavor. Meaning the fruit isnt super strong and the bitterness makes is assertive and takes away from the fruit. Thicker but neutral malt character with very light malt sweetness. Decent IPA but too much bitterness and not enough fruit for me.

MadRobin (3973) - Silver Spring, Maryland, USA - APR 10, 2017
On tap at Owen's Ordinary in North Bethesda, MD. Very hazy, dull gold with no real head and fair lacing. Aroma of citrus, dank stone fruit and a little pine. Taste of grapefruit, guava, light tropical fruit, dankness, peaches and other citrus. Medium body and medium carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled at Meridian Pint, clear gold, frothy white head. Nose has soap, lemon rind, pine, some light fusel notes, a little white pepper, some grist notes. Flavor has a little biscuit, some soap, hints of guava, pepper, straw, heavy lemon. Finishes bitter with more booze than you’d expect.

Maxbier (1002) - Maryland, USA - NOV 19, 2016
Draft at th brewery. Cloudy yellow with white film head. Citrus zest and hint of pine aroma. Malt body is slightly sweet but not at all heavy. Would have thought it an IPA vs imperial if it were not for the noticeable alcohol. Lemony, piney and a bit tropical. Nice bitter finish. Delicious.
