An opaque black with a well formed ½ inch dark tan head. The aroma is fresh char roast malt, along with cane sugar sweet and earthy pine hop. The taste is a clean blend of the roast caramel cane sugar malt with the hops showing as earth and pine and finishes crisp with soft mineral and additional roast. The palate is medium to heavier bodied, soft natural carbonation and the clean mineral finish. Nicely made, easy drinking for strength.
