UPDATED: SEP 30, 2020 Keg at GBBF, Earl’s Court on 04/08/2011. Smashing BIPA. Big nose of citrus, toasted malt, burnt bread and a hint of light roast coffee. Excellent body, and a good mix of hoppy and roasty flavours.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2019 0.75 bottle C: opaque, black N: fruit pits, peaches, apricots, white grapes P: higher viscosity, peach skin, muscat grapes, peach pit, hoppy, gentle sweetness. Great balance.

UPDATED: AUG 29, 2019 # 159, 12/2015. Vynikající BIPA. Velmi dobře vyvážená pražená sladová složka s výraznou chmelovou hořkostí. Příjemná, téměř terpentýnový dochuť.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2019 Tap at Zubatý Pes. Black body, lasting off white head. Odd aroma... herbal hoppiness, banana?, maltines, some alcohol. Sweetish taste, chocolate, banana again, herbal hoppy touches, ending dry. Er... will try to rerate, this wasn't great.

UPDATED: JAN 19, 2019 Bottle. Malty and hoppy aroma, citrus fruit, roasted malts, light coffee. Tastes the same as aroma, medium bitter. Full body, malty and hoppy bitter. Well ballanced between hoppyness and maltyness. Very good.

Bottle from Pezinská pivná pumpa. Nice Black IPA offering you pretty much everything you want from the style. No surprises but well crafted and enjoyable through entire bottle.

Lahev (75 cl): Deep ruby-amber coloured, medium-sized persistent off-white head; moderate to solid sweet-bitter nose of toasted malt, caramel, dried fruits and lemony hops; dryish and solid ,but surely not too dry, bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied, very soft; lingering creamy bitter-sweet finish with toasted malt, fruity traces and a lemony to grapefruity hoppiness. Výborně! A very well crafted and extremely well balanced brew…

0.75l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. Nice color on this, deep dark burgundy colored with a medium sized really lacing beige and bubbly top. Smells nice with dark candy and some dark dried fruits. A good amount of hops here also. It’s by all means nothing extreme but it smells quite nice and pleasant. It’s not extreme in the taste either. On the sweet side of the scale with lots of farm caramel and candy. Feels light oily in the mouth and it has a average almost creamy carbonation. Soft sweet licorice with some raisins and surprising prunes. Ends mildly grassy and hop lingering with a little rye bread in the tail. Absolutely a fair one this. 07.04.2014

Pite 21.02.2017 Aromat chmielowy (wręcz cytrynowy) i kawowy, przyjemny. W smaku również bardzo chmielowe, ze sporą goryczką i zaznaczoną palonością.
