UPDATED: DEC 31, 2021 355ml can. Pours a clear dark brown, almost black with red hue and a medium, creamy, short lived, tan head that laces. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and light coconut. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate and coconut in a dry, mild bitter, day old coffee finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Tasty and crushable, but the coconut was too subtle for me.

UPDATED: APR 13, 2021 35ml can. Pours a black with brown edges and a keen but fast fading head. Very fine bubbles. Aroma is very mild, a bit of malt. Flavour is mild, a porter for those who find them too strong perhaps. The malt is medium dark & the hops is just enough to cut any noticeable sweetness without much bitterness. Perhaps the coconut is what mellows the beer out but there is little actual coconut flavour. Interesting beer & I'd love to try more if ever in Hawaii. Good.

UPDATED: MAR 3, 2021 From a can to a glass. Pours a clear dark brown color with a big frothy creamy silky head. Aroma is cocoa nibs, coconut, roasted malts, light coffee. Taste follows the aroma with a medium mouthfeel. Very tasty Porter!

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2021 12oz can from Boise Co-op. Dark brown pour with traces of light coming through, thin beige head. Light roasty aroma with a hint of coconut. Taste is nutty, light roast, subtle coconut. Finishes with a dry bitterness.
