TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - OCT 12, 2014
GABF 2014 Rating (Denver, CO). Pours a pale yellow hue, some brighter sunny glow, a faint haziness. Frothy whitish head atop shows a mellow filmy ring, ok lacing and stick around. Aromas are a bit citrusy and hoppy, touches of lemon and white grape meet some lactic acidity, lemon and yogurt. Touches of bread, bitter earthy hops. Faint banana, pear, fruit. Initial is lighter end of the fold, gentle green apple and lemony sourness is mellow, touches of earth, bread, some cobwebs and bitter hops. Florals, hernal, a touch grassy. Mellow citrus, some bread, straw. Backend is a bit dry and bitter, a touch yogurty. Some cobwebs, gentle green apple. Solid. Nose a touch sweeter but the hop play is nice, more mellow sour bent.
