UPDATED: SEP 12, 2021 Twelve ounce can courtesy of my niece's husband Jesse, tasted on June 26, 2021. Hazy gold color, nice complex aroma with floral and fruit noes, smooth but rich big bittersweet taste. This is an outstanding brew and a fine choice for rating 1K. Thanks again, Jesse!

UPDATED: AUG 7, 2021 Can. Muted orange, stocky head of bubbly foam. Pleasant aroma hinting at spicy hops. Indeed, it drinks with a peppery essence, riding atop a quietly fruity brew. (#8015, 8/2021)

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2021 12 oz can from Total Wine and More in Short Pump, VA This is my first beer for this brewery. The ale poured a hazy light amber color with a white foamy head and excellent lacing. The head had very good retention. The aroma of citrus and hints of pine resin greets you. This a special D/IPA. The flavors are complex: orange, pine resin, and pale malts. The more you consume the better it gets. The high ABV is noticeable. The ale has a medium body and soft carbonation. It is easy to understand why they have won so many awards.

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2021 Can. Poured hazed golden orange with a white head. Aroma of pine, fruit rind, grapefruit, sweet citrus fruit. Taste was bittersweet, fruity, pine, orange, grapefruit, spice and sticky finish.

UPDATED: NOV 24, 2020 $3.85 can, WW. Second WY tick, there's a third and I think a 4th in the fridge. Lightly hazy golden with a large off-white head. Pine, citrus peel, lightly stale hop nose. Flavor is pine, peach, orange peel, grapefruit, resin, mango. Sticky, strong flavors. Good!

UPDATED: NOV 15, 2020 Pours bright yellow with a thick soapy head. Light musty lemony aroma. Surprisingly light and very well balanced hops character. Bright citrus. Thin mouthfeel. Picked up a can at Beertopia in 2020.

UPDATED: OCT 11, 2020 0.355l can. Slightly hazy orange body with a lasting white head. Aroma and taste of caramel, orange zest, grapefruit, pine and passion fruit. Feels quite light in booze for a 9.9% ABV beer. Good DIPA.

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2020 Clear golden color with lacing off-white head. Aroma has pine, needles, malt and grapefruit. Taste is malty sweet with long bitter and a bit sweet aftertaste. Flavors of pine, resin, mango and pineapple.
