The great Citradamus predicts this will be the best IPA that you have ever had. Go ahead, put this beer up in your grill. Smell that? Those are hops. Citra hops. Dank-ass Citra to be exact. Your old favorite IPA does not have Citras? Why is that? Because they are wicked spendy and we bought them all, that's why. Go ahead, yuck it up.

Citradamus predicts you're not going to hate. You're going to party.

brokensail (18691) - Bay Area, California, USA - JUN 30, 2021
UPDATED: JUN 30, 2021 Brewbies 2017. Clear golden-orange beer with a white head. Sweeter beer with notes of honey, orange marmalade, and stone fruit. Moderate bitterness and a fair amount of malty sweetness. Get a fair amount of floral hop flavor and aroma on the back end. Maybe a little grass. Okay.

Zlotta (7579) - Hagen, GERMANY - MAR 17, 2021
UPDATED: MAR 17, 2021 0.355 l can from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', canning date not readable. Slightly hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, white head. Intensely sweetish, fruity, quite resiny aroma of orange jam, pine and a touch of mango. Quite sweet, intensely malty, fairly resiny and gently fruity taste of orange jam, lots of pine, some mango and a touch of tobacco, followed by a medium long, rather bitter, fairly resiny and slightly alcoholic finish. Full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Massive old school IIPA, very intense, good!

UPDATED: JUN 22, 2020 Bright orangey aroma, some booze, sweet malts. Burnt orange body, fluffy white head. Clean yet surprisingly strong hop profile. Boozy finish, palate is a bit light but overall this is nice.

UPDATED: MAY 19, 2020 One of my favorites. A deeply flavorful and drinkable DIPA that compares with the best I have tried in this wonderful field of doubles and triples IPA’s

CacheManyHose (1180) - HONG KONG - APR 14, 2020
UPDATED: APR 14, 2020 Appearance: translucent dark orange with small to no head. Aroma: blood orange, canned peaches, sweet malt, dank lightly grassy hop, booze. Taste: resinous hop, spiced, lightly sweetish crisp malt, light orange/grapefruit peel. Body: slick, spicy, dank and boozy but still lightly creamy/buttery. Very good! Great nose.

HKdIPA (1286) - HONG KONG - APR 14, 2020
UPDATED: APR 14, 2020 Can from Brewcraft at home during quarantine. Amber-copper pour with puffy white head. Aroma is deep dank mango and pineapple with melon and citrus peel. Medium alcohol. Taste starts with huge pithy bitter bite, some tropical sweetness, with citrus peel and some pine, and lots of booze. Medium rich palate. Lasting tingling bitterness with alcohol warmth. Very very good. I think the best of Melvin’s RIIPA series that I’ve tried so far, maybe even better than 2x4.

colui72 (3437) - Yuen Long, HONG KONG - APR 4, 2020
UPDATED: APR 4, 2020 Clear amber, beautiful white head, firm and with an excellent creamy retention. Dank and fruity on the nose, tropical notes, marmalade, booze. Tastes sweet, pleasant to the palate, a lot of ripe fruits, resinous, classic, make you think of West Coast. Viscous and medium bodied. Proper!

UPDATED: APR 1, 2020 16 ounce can from Keg Liquors. A deep orange pour with a lot of malt and some fruit. Maybe not fresh? Not a lot of citra.

natejgood (703) - Bozeman, Montana, USA - FEB 22, 2020
UPDATED: FEB 22, 2020 Hazy golden orange in the glass wit h a nice white head that just sits there. Honestly, the head is going nowhere. As one would expect from the name, the most noticeable aroma is citrus. It seems like some combination of orange and lemon. Flavor is a bit odd. A combination of fairly bitter hops combined with a pretty hefty citrus kick. And as if that wasn't enough it is followed by a bit of sweet honey. I'm honestly not entirely sure what to make of it. I don't dislike it but it's not my favorite either.
