COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This flawless mead highlights The Hive’s expertise in creating a fusion of fruit, spice and orange blossom flavors. We brought out our A-game with this soon to be world dominating draft mead. Haven is a sweet, crisp, refreshing drink for any occasion. Lightly carbonated to deliver a peach punch that compliments a lasting hint of ginger.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2019 Can from a local wine shop. Mojito glass. A very clear, bright & active pale copper color. Smells of Sprite & very faint ginger. Sweet ginger soda accented with fresh honey is basically the theme here. Slick, solid carbonation, more juicy then sticky, low perceived ABV. No peach at all. That characteristic waxy mead note is well hidden. Sweet, but not impossibly so. Ginger turns a touch bitter to save it all at the end. Just don't let things get warm. Okay.

12 oz. no canning date. Clear brassy golden with some nice legs and a sizzling head. Nose is honey with the beeswax and lightly spiced apple. Flavor is the same with a peach note when I search for it. Medium body is sweet but not cloy and has medium fizz.

It pours clear golden with no head. It has a medium smooth body with light carbonation. The taste has rich honey, honeysuckle, phenolic spice and light Ginger and peach. Really enjoyable and easy drinking.

Can from Beer Frog. Pours a fizzy, clear yellow with an ephemeral white head. Nose is ginger ale, honey, some sweetness, and mild fruit. Flavor is similar- lots of honey, some ginger, spice, fruit, and a mild dryness at the end. Light to medium in body and ginger and mild peach into the finish.

Pours golden. Aroma is honey and Apple. Flavor is ginger, with notes of Apple and juicy peach. Highly spiced but real nice. Crushable mead in a can. I dig it!!

Aromas of ginger and honey with hints of peaches rise from a clear, almost glowing light gold hue producing a thin white ring. On the tongue, peach and ginger are the dominate flavors support by a honey backbone of mild sweetness. Overall, nicely crafted and enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours a luminescent gold with lots of visible carbonation and a thin white head. Nose is dry and spicy with the ginger predominant. Sweet and honeyed on the tongue, with the peach and ginger right up front and very well integrated; complex and rich and very deeply flavored. Finish is long, warm, and heated; that’s where the fresh ginger fire comes through a bit. My new favorite from some really amazing mead makers.

Hazy golden color. Floral aroma like lavender and heather. Tastes like heather and honey. Yeah,...it’s good.
