UPDATED: AUG 11, 2021 Pours clear, light chestnut brown. Slightly sweet, a little toasted malt, yet maintains a crispness on the palate. Light body. Effervescent. Decent beer.

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2021 Twelve ounce bottle. A nice dark, roasted malt amber bock made here in America. The unique blend of malts make this a rather nice Bock beer. I have always felt that this was one of the best beers in the A.B. family.

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2021 Quite a delightful bottle of beer. Great dark amber with a slight sweet and smooth taste. I bought it after having it at my first day of work in Holloman lol. Will buy again!

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2020 Pours clear mahogany with thin, light tan head. Aroma is caramel and roast. Taste is light caramel, moving to roast. Finish is caramel and roast.

UPDATED: NOV 20, 2019 [On tap at the Staybridge Suites, Naples, FL.] An attractive reddish copper pour with a creamy head; malty aroma; rather thin with a weak malty taste and some earthy caramel; then little to finish.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2019 Pours clear brown with a thin white head. Aroma of nutty malt. Taste has weak malt elements. Palate has nothing to speak of. Pretty bad.

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2019 Amazing how many times I've had this beer, yet only now have rated it. Short-lived tan head on top of a clear Amber body. The smell is mild. It has good flavors and no bad aftertaste but there's no bold distinct flavors. All in all it's a great beer, but it's not an exceptional beer
