COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With help from our buddy Brann Dailor from the metal band Mastodon, we are releasing Mother Puncher this Tuesday. Mastodon Mother Puncher is a farmhouse IPA, which basically means its packed with tons of funky flavors from the brettanomyces (used in brewing to heighten sensory reflexes) and mashed up with sweet and tart notes from passion fruit creating a deliciously funky IPA. For the release on Tuesday, we’ll have the band and the beer at Warpigs, so if you’re in Copenhagen, come by and check it out, starts at 5pm.

Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione media. Molto rinfrescante

UPDATED: APR 6, 2019 Light cloudy light caramel color thin head. Aromas spice, earthly, dank, hops light passionfruit. Flavors medium passionfruit (real), slight spicy/zesty hop, light floral hops. Medium sweet and bitter, slight sourness. Nice to try an ipa with real passionfruit coming through instead of through the hops.

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2019 Tap at Stadsbrouwhuis. Golden amber with decent white head. Woody manure aroma. Really sour start with some apple and light hopping. At the edges of what I'd instinctively call an IPA

DraftDodger (5615) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 14, 2018
UPDATED: MAY 19, 2019 Copenhagen 14/11 2018. 33 cl bottle from Mikkeller Webshop. Green radioactive hand holding a leaving Passion fruit on the label. Pours hazy, golden yellow with medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam almost covering the surface of the beer. Moderate Lacing. Aroma is quite sour and funky for an IPA. More in the being of a Saison. Tart berries, citrus and a prominent funky odor. A fart held back a bit too long. Undercurrent of sweet fruit like peach and Passion fruit. Medium carbonation. Slightly thick and lively texture. Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is quite tart with some funky notes. Finish is semi-dry. More a Farmhouse Ale than a IPA - but then again I will not complain about a good Farmhouse Brew.
