ABV: 8.9%. Cloudy medium to dark amber red colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, pink head. Aroma is moderate malty, light caramel, light barnyard, moderate to heavy raspberry, wood, oak, barrel. Flavor is moderate sweet to heavy with a long duration, raspberry, tart, sour, wood, oak, funky, barnyard, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20211227]

UPDATED: NOV 16, 2021 Bottle, small fizzy reddish pink head, cloudy very dark red colour, quite beautiful, aroma of ripe raspberries with some vinegar, something feral, a hint of funk, and a jammy whiff, flavor of ripe and candid raspberries, feral and vanilla hints, medium sourness, balanced by ripe fruity sweetness. Lipsmacking good.

UPDATED: OCT 17, 2021 Aroma: A ton of berries, raspberries, cherries. Funky, a touch of vinegar. Leather. Appearance: Pours claret with minimal head. Taste: Very sour, to the point it becomes irritating. Dry. Palate: Medium body, light carbonation. Overall: Good, crazy amount of fruit. Too sour.

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2021 Tap at mikkeller Berlin. Nose is strong raspberry, tannins. Palate is quite sure, raspberry, apple. Very nice.

UPDATED: JUL 1, 2021 Bottle. Dark ruby mahogany color, pink head. Aroma of raspberries, funk, vinegar. Sour, jammy, funky, tons of raspberries, slightly acetic, oak, plums, red wine and acetone notes. Medium-bodied, dry, fizzy. Lovely stuff.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2020 Salon piva 2020. Red color with pinkish head. Strong raspberries in aroma, other fruits, vinegar. Quite strong fruity sourness with raspberries, vinous notes funk, oak.

UPDATED: MAY 10, 2020 Pours dark ruby, a little fizzy head vanished in few seconds, no lacing. A glass of aged red wine look, basically. Aroma of sour cherry, raspberry, vinegar, oak. Tastes sour, very, loads of winey raspberry, vinegar, some underlying yeasty funk, oakey finish. Light bodied, no carbonation, sour forever. Classy, tasty, excellent.

UPDATED: APR 23, 2020 Taster at home courtesy of Saeglopur, big thanks. dark purple color, small white head. smells of raspberries, marzipan, light vinegar, very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes of raspberries, light vinegar, bit nutty, light marzipan, lactic, light barrel notes. finishes rather dry and medium lactic sour with notes of raspberries, light marzipan and earthy notes. nice one, rather on the sour side though (a bit too much) and rather lactic.

UPDATED: APR 22, 2020 375 ml bottle from MBC. Dark ruby body, with a medium, frothy, pink head. Aroma of sour raspberry jam, citrus, some wood, some vinegar. Tastes similar, with more vinegar. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes sour, tart, medium dry, wooden, citric, with lots of sour raspberries again, dark berry skin. Very nice. Lovely nose, with loads of beautiful raspberries. Taste is pretty sour, with too much vinegary notes, while interesting and I really like the dark berry skin finish. Not among my favorite ones from the series, but enjoyable stuff. Score: 8 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 15
