COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like traditional pale ales, Tankhouse Ale has a deep copper-red colour. We use five different malts to produce a complex malty texture. The most dominant character of our Pale Ale is the hop. The spicy Cascades is used to give an assertive hop flavour, aroma and bitterness to our ale. The result is a satisfying and complex-tasting beer. Our brewmaster developed this recipe 20 years ago and it has remained his favorite drink of choice

UPDATED: OCT 3, 2020 One of the OG go-to craft beers for me. Caramel sweetness, some pine and a bit of spice. Sort of traditional English/Irish ale

UPDATED: MAR 26, 2019 Tawny with a small head.Quite a lot of carbonation upon opening. Some maltiness but lacks the fresh clean flavour of other organic beers I have tried. Can't understand why such an average beer which is lacking in any outstanding flavours rates so highly.

Listigovers (2149) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 13, 2019
UPDATED: JAN 13, 2019 A copper coloured beer with a traditional malt character and fairly strongly hopped. Always gives some dry caramel and bready taste with prominent leafy and pine hops, enough hops to be more on the bitter than malty side. Medium body but pretty easy to drink these. Always a good standby in Toronto, well made and consistent, Toronto's answer to Sam Adams.

UPDATED: OCT 8, 2018 341 ml bottle. Dark copper color with a small soft khaki head. Aroma is caramel malts, floral, fall leaves and spices. Flavor profile is similar. Slight on the hops, leaning malty. Very drinkable.

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2018 A very drinkable ale with a clean and smooth finish. Lighter colour, good flavour, and a subtle finish. This is an enjoyable drinking ale, pairing well with food, tobacco, and doubles for a night out, where you may responsibly have more than one.

Pint at Mövenpick Marche in Toronto. Pours copper with white head. Quite bacic APA with caramel, and hoppy bitterness. Quite light mouthfeel. Decent
