UPDATED: AUG 3, 2019 This is a backlog rating from 2011 from a bottle acquired via trade, from notes. When I had this beer it was average to below average for the style and not something I wanted to have again or I just didn't get back to my notes because of my technology at the time. Words to describe this beer are pale wheat malts, coriander, banana.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is wheat, spice, lemon, citrus, banana, and grass. Taste is banana, coriander, light citrus, clove, cracker malt, and some minerals. Finish is a little bitter and yeasty - the only real disappointment in this beer is the harshness of its finish and the subpar aftertaste. Medium body - not unpleasant, but oddly heavy. High carbonation. Crisp mouthfeel.

Golden brown with an off white foam. Nice mango blast as the bottle is opened. Floral pine with herbal notes. Juicy fruit with sweet caramel and a peppery finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottle from beer of month club from jenny. last shipment :<. nose is somewhat clove and banana, bubblegum. saison like but more white ale-ish than saison. smooth and full, medium sweetness, bitter and wheat meet up for a clash here. pretty good for a style that is often awful imo.

Bottle: Cloudy, pale yellow, with a solid white head. Banana, wheat aroma. Taste is sweet, wheat malt, banana, lemon/orange. A little yeasty bitterness, but pretty good. Not quite as sharp as I prefer, but a pretty tasty Wit.

This seemed to have more of a saison thing going for me, with bubblegum, cloves dominating the nose and also present in the taste along with a dry iron sort of taste. Clear, pale yellow, nice thick lacing pattern. Thanks for the trade Ron!

Outstanding first beer! Clean with a touch of citrus and floral in the finish. Nicely laced glass. Pared well with chicken quesadilla! This is a great beer to start your private adventure! Sláinte!

Pours a clear light amber with a very small white head and very good lacing. Smells a bit skunky, malt, some caramel, and a little dirt. Taste is of wheat, a little citrus, banana, and earthy. Ends a little citrus and fruity.
