Flavor is interesting: resin, soap, green leaves, lemon rind, a little earth, black tea. I get the fusion between the styles. Enjoyable.
Drake (18900) - Appleton, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 17, 201712 ounce bottle from Sendiks Marquette. Hazy amber, large creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of dank, resin, grain. The taste is toasted grainy malt, bitter leafy, limey hops, a bit of resin. Medium bodied, well balanced. A little different. Nice.

The taste is a balanced toasted grain sweetness and citrus ending with some dryness and bitterness. Light+ in body with average carbonation. Decent.
troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - FEB 15, 2015[Bottle] Dirty golden pour with lots of fizzy carbonation. Not much head or lacing. Nose is of stale hops, grass and lighter herbal notes. Grainy flavors mix with astringent hoppiness. Caramel, light grass and some earthy notes in the taste as well. Thin body. Herbal and harsh bitterness comes through as it warms.
RRistow12 (1134) - Lewis Center, Ohio, USA - FEB 3, 2015Tasted from bottle. Pours a clear orange amber with slighty off white head. Aroma is pretty sweet with caramel and biscuit notes. A hint of citrus and a little medicinal note. Taste is moderately sweet with a mild bitterness. A little too unbalanced. Caramel, toffee, biscuits, earthy flavors. Below average to average pale ale.

deekyn (1459) - San Francisco, California, USA - DEC 26, 2014Simple copper pour with sticky white lacing. It has a nose of crackery malts, feet, and citrusy hops. Medium heavy body with a pretty aggressive palate. The taste is vegetal and bitter with a metallic tang. Muddled citrus zest and juice with vegetal malts. Bitter and not particularly developed.
akoeninger (794) - Wisconsin, USA - OCT 27, 2014A solid pale ale with offers a nice melding of American and British hops that make it something different from yet another pale ale. Taste is citrus and earthy with some good toasted malt.
