COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Originally conceived in collaboration with the excellent folks from Culmination Brewing, this incredibly bomb gose was kettle-soured and heaped to the rafters with guava, cucumber, and lime. It’s refreshment on an unparalleled level, and a resounding testament to the power of friendship.

UPDATED: SEP 12, 2020 Pint can. Cucumber aroma with notes of wheat malt, guava, lime and salt. Pours clear golden colored with half a finger of off white head that has excellent retention and lacing. Starts with guava sweetness, wheat malt and lime flavors as well as having a lively mouthfeel. Finishes dry and quite refreshing with tart lime and salt flavors. Really nice gose.

UPDATED: AUG 23, 2020 Feeling the sours at the moment... Modern Times x Culmination Laser Rain Tropical Cucumber Gose 5.6% 15 IBU Opaque gold with an initial briny whiff that then gives you a salty minerality. Medium in body with a soft round carbonation. Cucumber sours often quickly becomes pickle beers but this one is balanced by the fruity tropical guava element keeping it nicely summery and not overly sour or acidic. Good but definitely a bit gimmicky.

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2020 Can from Bine & Vine. Pours translucent gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is amazing. Cucumber and guava. Who'd a thunk doing that? Arguably med body. Flavor is cucumber, guava and something like lime/salt. Fairly dry. Bitter? Not the point here. Really refreshing!

BelgianBeerGal (5522) - Panama City, Florida, USA - JUL 26, 2020
UPDATED: JUL 26, 2020 Can from Scapegoat in Scottsdale when everything else was closed again. Massive aroma with tons of cucumber and sour notes that border on pickles! A light hint of tropical fruit too. Lots of cucumber in the flavor at first but then it finishes with some tart guava sourness. Very unique but good and I don’t really like cucumber flavors.

GDTRFB (7867) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - JUL 25, 2020
UPDATED: JUL 25, 2020 Pours hazy gold into a shaker. Bright white head with little retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Cucumber and citrus aromas. Medium bodied with sweet cucumber upfront turning to guava and lime in the medium length finish. Would be nice with tequila.
