COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Blended imperial stout aged in rye whiskey barrels with cocoa nibs, coffee, and vanilla added. This monstrous blend consists of a trifecta of imperial dessert stouts (Dragon Mask, Mega Devil’s Teeth, and Modem Tones), all of which had an extended 14-month stay in rye whiskey barrels. That amalgam was lavished with vanilla, dark roast coffee, and cocoa, resulting in a beer bursting with dessert decadence, underscored by a delightful oakiness from the barrels. It’s the liquid embodiment of pure luxury, so prepare for your pinkies to be fully out upon your first sip.

UPDATED: APR 13, 2021 Bottle split with friends on 4/6/21. Darkest brown pour with a medium tan head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, coffee, vanilla and whiskey. Malty and chocolatey flavor with vanilla and slight coffee character before a rye whiskey finish.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2021 Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong roast, vanilla bean, cocoa. Slick body, cocoa, roast, vanilla, bourbon, oak, nice sweetness, enjoyed this.

phaleslu (14680) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 1, 2021
UPDATED: MAR 1, 2021 22 oz. bottle shared by Shane - thanks again! Pours a deep, dark, nearly opaque brown with a small tan head that settles into a ring. Notes of vanilla, chocolate, rye whiskey, oak, roasted malts, fudge, burnt brown sugar, and mild coffee roast. Full-bodied, with modest carbonation and a sweet, rich, coating mouthfeel that mostly hides the ABV. Smells awesome, and the flavor doesn't quite live up to it. Great overall, though.
