Thanks to Chopz for the trade off! Pours a small foamy light brown head and has an amber appearance. Thin patchy lacing. Quite a variety of malty, hoppy aromas. Light earthy and roasted malts and some light hops. Hints of caramel in the mix. Medium retention. Pretty smooth mouthfeel and has a mild warming sensation. Pretty good beer coming from Moosehead brewery.

Pours clear deep golden / amber colored body. Fizzy tan head. Aroma of dunkel malt, grain, caramel and subtle but fruity hops. Taste is mild but very malt forward. There’s the slightest hint of coffee. Little bit of hoppy bitterness towards the finish. Super smooth, soft carbonation, medium body.

Sample from can as part of autumn big clean up. Aroma: banana, spices, crisp cereals, light citrus. App: clear copper, huge white head leaving thick lacing. Taste and palate: light body, light sweetness, light crisp body finish. Overall: not bad. After all these bad beers in a row this one stands out. Good crispiness. Ok.
