UPDATED: DEC 28, 2018 Deep coffee colours and a chocolate/coffee taste. Absolutely delicious milk stout that is very tasting without being to heavy on the stomach.

355mL can from Slowbeer Looks the spot - deep opaque black body, dense tan foam persists. Decent nose - espresso coffee, dark chocolate, licorice, burnt toast, roast nuts, browned toffee, orange candy hops. Smooth body, lovely texture, smooth, oily, lingering, carbonation on the low side but welcomed. Palate reveals dark chocolate, burnt cereals, licorice & toasted nuts, with orange & piney hops contributes a lingering bitterness. This is damn tasty - hits the spot!

Can - it seems there is a competent portable canning line going about the place. Dark brown, tan head that slowly fades to a coat. Aroma of chocolate, mild roast, grass/ weeds. 7- Lovely fat, smooth oaty body with low carbonation. Rich bittersweet chocolate, firmer roasted flavours than suggested by the aroma. Bitterness is quite high for this sort of thing, but mainly acts to accentuate the good coffee-tinged chocolate at the end. 7+ Impressive.
