ResinousStein14 (92) - POLAND - APR 3, 2018Taste like pralines. Chocolate pralines. Full bodied, thick. Full of chocolate notes and in addition spicy and fruity aroma and aftertaste. Alcohol is not well hidden, but apart from this it's a decent beer.

CraftyHare (305) - Adelaide, AUSTRALIA - SEP 1, 2017330ml bottle pours jet black with thin tan head. Not too much aroma apart from some dark earthy espresso notes. Tastes of dark cocoa, smoke, ash, roast barley, espresso, dark cherry and brown sugar. Was hoping for a bit more texture and body, with a little more Belgian influence. Decent flavour profile despite the thinness.
Bootlegger007 (245) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 20, 2017I agree, it’s perfect for a winters night, a very warming stout, aromas of chocolate were strong, also herbs and roasted malt, poured a deep black with a small tan head, medium bodied with flavours of sweet chocolate and spice, I also found cask wood, vanilla and dark fruits plum and dates, very enjoyable indeed.
Dervock (1634) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 11, 2017Bottle - pours deep dark ruby with a thin tan head. Aroma is chocolate, rum, dried fruit and mild burnt sugar. Taste is sweet molasses hit up front, then a malt middle and a drying burnt sugar/dried fruit finish.
Countbeer (6586) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - MAY 23, 2015Bottle: Thanks Owen: Shaker:
Black body, creamy brown head.
Aroma is very interesting: yeast, flowers, marzipan, prunes, raisins, liquorice, coffee, some rubber.
Flavour is roasty, spice, chocolate, some coffee and other dark ingredients with a crispy yeast tone, very nice.
Aftertaste is roasty, bitter, fruity, marzipan, coal and some wood roast.
Low carbo, silky mouthfeel, close to full bodied.
