COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kicking back and relaxing with a session beer requires little more than a couch, some free time, and a few pals. Slow Ride Session IPA is up for this easy-going challenge, starting with a pour of sheened gold and plenty of fluffy, white foam. A blend of seven hop varieties, led by exotic Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin, twist together brilliant tropical scents of melon, peach, lime and grapefruit for a vividly fruity aroma. The flavor mirrors the aroma, while balancing a malty-sweet yet clean start and hoppy bitterness in the back. Light bodied and extra quaffable, Slow Ride Session IPA brings the finish line to you.

Boring. Sorry, I had to upload these old ratings. They were for me, not for uploading. And also I need 75 characters, hence this sentence. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

January 21st, 2015 - Back in my day, New Belgium barely had any hoppy beers for the masses, but they know where to dig to find the money pile. Hops sells, and it's not enough just to brew Ranger. New Belgium seems to follow up with the Slow Ride, responding to consumer demand for easy drinking that can last the whole evening. With a clear color, and big bubbles appearing like the old game Bubblebobble, it does look quenching and light, with a fragile foam on top, wobbling precariously and threatening to pop all at once. The aroma is light and floral, and a touch of honeycomb and powdered sugar for a bit of sugar. Milder is the flavor, and even dank, with the hops offering a weedy forward flavor, but which feels robust on an otherwise petite palate and mouthfeel. Assertive but drinkable, this is a robust session IPA which I rather like given the low ABV.

Can 33 cl. Orange, cloudy with a medium white head. Lots of hops aroma with some citrus sense. Medium bitterness with a dry hop end. Not bad for a 4,5.

Lett tåkete lys brun med høyt offwhite skum. En pepperig, ingefæraktig lukt, noe sitrus og høy. Middels minus i fylde.

Can from Meny Jarlsberg. Golden body. Frothy, white head. Fruity nose, lovely. Tropical fruit, pineapple, citrus, lemon, peach. Lots of flavour, but very thin and watery. Medium to high carbonation. Light bitterness and sweetness. Could’ve been awesome, but, sadly, too thin.
