COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Who is qualified to judge one's contribution? Is it the pure Wisconsin barley malt or shall credit be given to traditional German and English hops? Maybe it is the Belgian Monastic yeast or the Brewer's tender care? Combined, this is a sophisticated Abbey style ale. Both elegant and drinkable this ale is cleanly aromatic with spicy notes of clove and ginger. Crisp and fragrant up front while gracefully sliding into warm malt notes at the finish. Fermented natually in this bottle, the beer in your hand is a living testament to the value of many working together to create something bigger than the individual parts. Moving a mountain begins with a single stone.

Hazy golden colour. Light esters, light aniseed, light body, short finish. Very simple.

UPDATED: DEC 26, 2018 12 oz. bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma reveals a nice Belgian yeast character upfront, with light coriander, some gently sweet esters, and candied sugar. Flavour is along the same lines, with gentle coriander, Belgian yeast, and a touch of candied sugar. Nice use of coriander. Decent.

UPDATED: OCT 8, 2018 Clear yellow color with white froth. The smell includes pear, apple and grassy hops. A sweetness like Belgian candy also. Taste is much the same, clove spice blending to grassy hops

Pour from a 12oz bottle. Slightly hazy brew with big white head, great lacing and head retention. Aroma of banana, clove, kind of restrained. Taste is mild sweet malt up front, clean banana notes, mild Belgian yeast; finish with a big banana blast at the end. I don't think I've tried any other brew that so well embodied the banana taste. Overall enjoyable.

12 oz bottle thanks to Steve. Another lighter ale from NG, soft Belgian yeast notes in the aroma and taste. Sweet, and with some substance, some weizen notes too, banana and clove. Interesting.

This sits somewhere between a Belgian ale and a German Hefe for me. You get the banana and bubblegum type esters. Slight spice note in finish. Nicely carbonated like a Hefe. Gets a bit sweet after a few more sips.

Pours a medium-straw color, or maybe slightly-browned lemonade, with a medium-thin, white head. The aroma is subtle yeast and sweet banana; kind of reminds me of Golden Monkey. The carbonation is bright on the tongue and overall mouthfeel is light. On the palate I get yeast and a little bread, again with subtle banana. Very drinkable, quite tasty.
